We are working with a Southern CA-based EPC focused on commercial solar and solar + storage projects in key markets including CA, AZ, and NV. They have been in business for over a decade providing 3rd party Engineering, Design and Construction services with a reputation for quality and delivery on difficult projects.
As their pipeline and backlog of work are expanding, we are looking for a Sr Design Engineer to oversee several projects in the C&I market ranging from 250Kw - 3MW. The Sr Design Engineer will manage 3rd party Engineering firms, review and approve final designs and specify the DC and AC equipment needed for projects. This person will manage 10-15 projects at a time in various stages.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of solar or construction experience.
- Strong understanding of PV System Design, Interconnection and Switchgear.
- Experience managing 3rd party Engineering resources.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- PE License (Electrical).
Salary Range: $100-140K depending on experience + incentives.
