We are working with the Solar development arm of one of the largest Energy Services companies in the country. They help clients across the country lower their energy costs through both energy efficiency improvements and generating clean energy with solar.
The Solar Project Development Engineer will be responsible for the development, design and installation of Solar PV generating systems including energy storage options for institutional and utility-scale projects and several other renewable energy initiatives for large C&I customers and federal government clients. This role will assist in the assessment of project requirements to evaluate business opportunities for PV.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or any related technical field.
- 3 years of relevant experience in Solar PV Design and analysis.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams (internal and external).
- Ability to visit project sites as needed to assess and record site dimensions and electrical systems.
Salary range: $90-120k depending on experience + incentives.
